Let's make a change
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
One thing that I learn in Egypt, other than the human anatomy and science of islam, is life. How hard life is here.
Everyday we walk passed by the street mongers and the homeless. Everyday after prayer we would stride to the door of the masjid just to see beggars, asking for mercy that Allah rains us just a minute before. It pains me to see how these people struggled for a piece of bread. How are the children of the poor getting proper education? Yes we can blame the despotic, dictatorial government who only cares to feed their friends, unfortunately these people are not. But on our individual circumstances, is there anything we can do, or even, we should do?
Aren't we muslims? Even our title bears 'peace-givers'. Titles and names are meaningful only if they are manifested in reality. We can do something. I can, and must do something. I am planning, rather, Allah is the best planner.
