Syafakallah ya Akhi

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

'Dia sakit apa?' I asked.

'Acute appendicitis',replied Amirul,my housemate who accompanied Ammar to Salama Hospital situated at Azarita.

Trying to refresh again what Doctor Samar had taught us on the topic 'Inflammation' last week. Seems like the real example is already present in front of our eyes.

Ammar was admitted to the hospital at about 3 evening, after complaining of stabbing pain since yesterday. As for that, he did not attend the class that Thursday. He told me that he took some drugs like Spascolon, Napizole and Colospasmine but those didn't relieve his pain. This was the second time Ammar complaining of painful stomach. The first one he had occured a few months ago, related to the small intestine. But last time he went for a medical check up at Nur Islam Hospital with me, took some pills and recovered well a coule of days later,However, he might not be so lucky this time.

the ultrasound test result
According to Dr Amr As-Shariff's prognosis, Ammar might be suffering from one of these two; Nephritis or Appendicitis. To validate his early analysis,he performed urine test, leukocyte blood count test and ultrasound test to diagnose the disease. Ammar was found positive on ultrasound test, having elevated leukocyte count above the normal level and somehow the urine test was negative on him, which means that he is having Acute Appendicitis.

Fawwaz, Amir and I went to the hospital after 'Asar prayer to see him. Alongside Ammar are my housemates, Amirul, and Nizam who just came before us. The nurse said that Ammar would have his operation between 6 and 7 o'clock. We had some nice conversations before Nizam and Amirul returned home earlier for they wanted to come back after Maghrib, while Amir stayed accompanying Ammar until dusk. Me and Fawwaz leave not long after my ahlu sha'ah( read: ahli rumah) did. We already informed Ammar's dad, Encik Faris on his condition, Ustaz Ishak (Walid) who was at Cairo that time, and also Abang Yadiy and Abang Zairi , the President of Perubatan Cawangan Iskandariah and Chief of Welfare Bureau respectively. On knowing the news, some ikhwah contacted us and asked about Ammar. We gave them some details and assured them that everything is going fine.

At about 7.30pm, Ammar had a minor operation to remove the appendix. It was not so serious. The surgery took about 2 hours. Alhamdulillah all went well and he still need to stay in the hospital for the next 12 hours. After Jumuah prayer the next day, Ammar was discharged and is now savoring some kinda '5-Star' services. 1 cheer for Ammar! =D

Anyway,we would like to express our greatest gratitude to all of you guys who wished Ammar to get well soon and prayed for his speedy recovery.Syukran also for those who paid some visit, giving lots and lots of fruits masyaAllah(siang malam makan buah je dah kenyang),only Allah can repay your deeds really. Jazakumullahu khairan Kathiraa.

Barakallahu fikum.
